SAIGON

Arrive in Saigon. Visit the colonial Saigon and discover the Unification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office and Cholon, the city’s lively Chinatown. Dinner and night in Saigon.

SAIGON - CAI BE

After breakfast, departure for Cai Be to board a local boat. Visit of a rice paste factory. Then, board the boat for the Mekong cruise. Welcome cocktail, introduction to the ship and crew and check into the cabins. Departure towards Chợ Lách on the Tiền Giang River. After, lunch, relax on the deck and enjoy the bar. The boat slips into the Chợ Lách canal, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the river traffic, between markets and churches, a unique opportunity for a glimpse of the very varied life on the banks as well as on the water. Visit of a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Visit of the orchard or rice fields nearby. Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Rest on the deck enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the boat is cruising Mang Thit River. Anchor for the night just downstream from the little Tra On floating market.

CAI BE - CAN THO - LONG XUYEN

Breakfast as the ship is resuming its cruise the Tra On floating market. The ship then departs towards Can Tho. Arrival in Cái Răng floating market and transfer onto a local boat to visit the floating market, the nearby arroyos and gardens and reach to the Ninh Kieu pier. Back on the boat, lunch will be served while cruising towards Thốt Nốt. Upon arrival at Thốt Nốt, transfer on the longboat for a visit of a bamboo-knitting village near the Thốt Nốt bird park, at the time the egrets return home from a day out. Boarding back before dusk, a welcome drink and the dinner are served on board while en route. Rest on the deck before the night. The boat drops anchor upstream of Long Xuyen for the night.

LONG XUYEN - CHAU DOC

Breakfast on the boat as it cruises upstream the river towards Châu Đốc. Upon arrival to Châu Đốc, check-out and transfer onto a local boat for the visit of a village of the Muslim Cham minority. Visit of Tay An Pagoda. Free time to discover Châu Đốc. Night in Châu Đốc.

CHÂU ĐốC - PHNOM-PENH

After breakfast, board a speed boat to ride from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh. It will take you to the Vietnamese (Vinh Xuong) – Cambodian (Kaom Samnar) border and then to Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia. Visit of the city: the silver Pagoda, the Royal Palace, the Central Market, the French district… Night in Phnom Penh.

PHNOM-PENH– SIEMREAP

Transfer to Phnom-Penh airport for a flight to Siem Reap. Arrival Siem Reap, transfer to the hotel. Visit of the old market. Lunch. Then, visit of the Roulos Group Temples, dating back from the late 9th century. Visit of Wat Bo old market. Dinner and night in Angkor.

VISIT OF ANGKOR TEMPLES

Early wake-up to discover this amazing and fascinating civilization. Visit of Angkor Vat, Bayon, the Terrace of the Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King and the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire: Angkor Thom. Before dinner, you can climb up Phnom Bakheng to admire the sunset. Dinner and night in Angkor.

VISIT OF ANGKOR TEMPLES

Discover Kravan and Banteay Srei, splendid temples of Angkor. Lunch at a local restaurant. On your way back, visit of a Khmer village which makes sugar from palm trees. Late afternoon, cruise on Tonle Lake. Dinner and night in Angkor.

SIEMREAP – VIENTIANE - LUANG PRABANG

Transfer to the airport for an early flight to Ventiane. Upon arrival, city tour: Phat That Luang, Patumxai, Vat Sisaket… Back to the airport for a flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, your driver and guide will pick you up. After dinner, visit of the night market. Night in the hotel.

LUANG PRABANG

Early in the morning, attend the alms giving ceremony. Then visit of Luang Prabang which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site: Wat Siphoutthabat, Vixun, Aham, Xiengthong, Royal Palace, Wat Mai and Mount Phousi. Night in the hotel.

LUANG PRABANG

After breakfast, transfer to Kuangsi waterfall. Visit of a Khmu village, a H’Mong village and Henri Mouhot’s tomb. Henri Mouhot was the mid-19th-century explorer who discovered Angkor site. Picnic. Then, return to Luang Prabang.

LUANG PRABANG - HANOI

Cruise on Mekong River to reach Pak Ou Caves(Tham Ting). Lunch in a restaurant on the verge of Mekong River. Visit of Ban Pak Ou and Sang Hai (white sticky rice alcohol village). Back to Luang Prabang, transfer to the airport for a flight to Hanoi. Night in Hanoi.

HANOI - CAT BA

After breakfast, depart for Halong. In Hai Phong, boarding on a fast ferry for a quick crossing to Cat Ba Island. Visit of Cat Ba fish market. At Ben Beo harbor, transfer to our private traditional Junk with a welcome cocktail. Travel through a floating fishing village. One-hour cruise in Lan Ha Bay to discover the stunning beaches of Ba Trai Dao. Delicious seafood lunch *and free time to rest while the crew will stop the engine to travel full sails in Ong Cam Bay. Boat-ride to CA tunnel and discover a hidden lake surrounded by cliffs full of monkeys (endangered species). Finally, the Junk will drop the anchor in a remote area free of tourists. Diner and night aboard.

HALONG - HANOI

Breakfast aboard. Cruise among thousands of sugar loaf shapes. Fresh seafood lunch aboard. Disembarkation at Bai Chay harbor to go back to Hanoi. On the way, visit of a ceramic village: Dong Trieu. Back to Hanoi. Night in the hotel.

HANOI

After breakfast, visit of the Temple of Literature. It was built in 1070 dedicated to Confucius. Six years later, it became the first university of Vietnam. In the afternoon, visit of the main historical and cultural highlights of the city: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda… End the day with a traditional water puppet show. Then transfer to the airport for your returning flight.
