Day 1: SAIGON

Arrive in Saigon and visit the city starting with Cho Lon Chinatown, then the temple dedicated to the goddess of the sea and finally, the old French colonial districts. Dinner and overnight in Saigon.

Day 2: SAIGON - CAI BE

Day 2: SAIGON - CAI BE

After breakfast, you will leave the bustling city of Saigon to descend to the Mekong Delta (Asia's third longest river). Crossing rice fields as far as the eye can see. Arrival in Cai Be then embark on a local boat to begin your discovery of the Mekong and attend the manufacture of rice cakes. Boarding the Bassac at noon near the floating market of Cái Bè, will be the opportunity of a welcome drink, the presentation of the boat and the crew and finally the installation in the cabins. This will be the departure to Cho Lách, downstream on the Tien Giang River.

Lunch on board then rest on the upper deck, around the bar. The Bassac will enter the Cho Lách canal which is a concentrate of fluvial activity between markets and churches and which will be the opportunity to discover the very varied life on the banks and on the water. Visit a village on the bank of the Mang Thít River, an opportunity to approach the way of life and hospitality of the inhabitants of the region. Visit the orchards or rice fields nearby before boarding to attend the bridge at sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac will depart en route to Mang Thít.

He will anchor down the small floating market of Trà ôn, for the night.

Day 3: CAI BE - CAN THO - LONG XUYEN

Day 3: CAI BE - CAN THO - LONG XUYEN

Breakfast while the boat moves in the middle of the Trà ôn Floating Market. Then it will be the departure to Can Tho. Upon arrival at the floating market of Cai Rang, a transfer on a lighter boat will be organized for the visit of the market, the arroyos, the orchards and the fruit garden of Mr. Ba Cong, a shelling factory of the rice and finally, to return to Ninh Kieu wharf. You will embark on the Bassac where lunch will be served during the ride. On your arrival, transfer on a rowboat for a visit to a village of weavers near the bird sanctuary at the time when the egrets return to sleep. Back on the boat, you will leave for Châu Doc. A refreshment, then dinner will be served on board by the crew and the Bassac will anchor upstream of Long Xuyen for the night.

Day 4: LONG XUYEN - CHÂU DOC

Breakfast then arrived at Châu Doc and restitution of the cabins. Transfer to a local boat for a visit to a Muslim village of the Chàm minority. In the afternoon, visit the pagoda of the Goddess Sam then night in Châu Doc.

After breakfast at the hotel boarding a fast boat to ride the Mekong to Phnom Penh (capital of Cambodia). The boat will stop at the Vietnamese border crossing and then at the Kaom Somnor border post for immigration formalities in Cambodia. On your arrival in Phnom Penh early afternoon, tour of the capital of Cambodia: visit the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, the Central Market, the French Quarter.

Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 6: PHNOM PENH– SIEMREAP

Early in the morning, transfer to the airport for a flight to SiemReap. Installation at the hotel then visit the old market and have lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, you will discover the group of temples Roulos and visit the workshop of the artisans of Angkor and finally the old market Wat Bo.

You will be awakened early to discover this prestigious civilization which remains still of mystery and fascination for many of us. All day will be reserved for the visit of Angkor Wat, Bayon, the ancient city of Angkor Thom, the terrace of Elephants and King Lepreux.

You'll be in the vicinity of Kravan and Banteay Srei. This jewel of Angkor surpasses the other existing temples in artistic terms. After lunch at the local restaurant near the site, you will continue a trail to the thousand lingas river. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Vientiane. Once arrived, you will be greeted by your guide and driver to tour the city starting with Pha That Luang then Patumxai and Vat Sisaket ... Back to the airport you will fly to Luang Prabang. In the same way as in Vientiane, you will be welcomed by your guide and your driver. Dinner then visit the night market and overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 10: LUANG PRABANG

Day 10: LUANG PRABANG

Early in the morning, you will attend the alms of Buddhist monks and then spend the day visiting this historic city, former royal capital, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: Wat Siphoutthabat, Vixun, Aham, Xiengthong, former Royal Palace, Wat Mai and Mount Phousi. Dinner free.

After breakfast, transfer to Kuangsi waterfall and visit the Khmu village, the H'Mong village and the tomb of Henri Mouhot who was the explorer of the Angkor site. Lunch in the form of a picnic then return to Luang Prabang.

Day 12: LUANG PRABANG – HANOI

Boat trip on the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves (Tham Ting). Lunch at the riverside restaurant and visit Ban Pak Ou and Sang Hai (the sticky rice alcohol village). Back in Luang Prabang, transfer to the airport to go to Hanoi where you will spend the night.

Departure by car to Hai Phong, when you arrive on the island, visit Cat Ba fish market where you will meet fishermen landing after a night of fishing will allow you to better understand the daily life of local people and buy your lunch. Embark aboard a private sailing junk with which you will discover the small wild beaches in Lan Ha Bay, tunnels and floating fishing villages. If the tide is favorable, you will also visit the three tunnels. Lunch based on seafood will be cooked products purchased at the market. It will be followed by a moment of relaxation on the deck or in the lounge while the crew stop the engine to sail under sails if the wind lends itself. In the afternoon, swim in Ba Trai Dao.

After breakfast, continue the cruise where you will discover almost all of Halong Bay: the real and the legendary in caves and on islands. You will rub shoulders with thousands of steep rocks and barely emerged the waves. You will feel like you're in a world of fossilized animals millions of years ago. Visit Cong Do cave and kayak tour to Hon Non. Possibility of angling and swimming. Dinner and overnight on the boat. You will disembark at Halong around 13:30 and leave on the way to Hanoi with the visit of the Dong Trieu pottery village.

Day 15: HANOI

Day 15: HANOI

Capital of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Ha Noi, whose name means "Beyond the River", was founded in 1010 on the right bank of the Red River. She then portrays the name Dai The "Great Citadel" before being renamed Thang Long, the "Dragon taking flight", as the country emerged more than 10 centuries of Chinese rule. You will start the day with a visit to the Ethnographic Museum. You will discover the living conditions of the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam through the staging of objects, clothing and houses. Visit the Confucius Temple (1070), which became the first Vietnamese university a few years later, and better known as the Temple of Literature. Visit the Ho Chi Minh home, the colonial districts and the 36 shopping streets of Hanoi's old quarter. A show at the Water Puppet Theater will complete your day.
