Departure from the hotel by private car on the beautiful Kim Boi road. You will then go to Son Tay and the Doai region (northern part of Ha Tay province) where Mong Phu nestles. The hamlet has been classified as a "cultural village" for its red stone architecture (like honeycombs) and its age. On arrival, bike ride through the village to visit the 400-year old houses, the Mia Pagoda and the Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung Kings Temple dating back to the 10th century. Lunch at the inhabitant. Then departure to Mai Chau located in full Thai territory. Dinner at the inhabitant then evening with show of dance and songs.
After breakfast, you will take the road to the village of Pa Ko, located at 1100m altitude and 3 hours of walking: it will offer a beautiful view of the valley. If you have the chance to visit Pa Ko on a Sunday, you can attend the village market where farmers buy and sell their products. The 6-hour hike will then start to Hang village where you will have dinner and spend the night. Homestay
In the morning you will start the 6-hour trek towards Kho Muong village. En route, you will pass by many villages and Thai hamlets. Once in the valley you can enjoy the landscape with many rice terraces and scattered villages. Arrival at Kho Muong Village is scheduled for late afternoon. Dinner and overnight will be followed by the locals in traditional Thai stilt houses.
The hike will continue for 4 hours through the green countryside that will allow you to meet the local people, busy with his daily occupations in the fields and with buffaloes. Lunch at Pho Doan Village and return to Hanoi in the afternoon on the Ho Chi Minh Trail
